& Designs (Vintage Inspired Play Kitchen)

We knew we wanted to give our daughter a play kitchen for her 1st birthday.  Of course, I wanted it to be unique.  Of course I wanted a Pottery Barn look-alike.  Of course I think it's better than Pottery Barn.  I don't think I need to even explain.  The pictures will speak for themselves just how beautiful and perfect this play kitchen is.

Oh, but I must include all the info mumbo-jumbo.  If you want to order one of these, John Taylor is only building 4 before Christmas.  So, it's first come, first serve.  Sorry, there is just no time to make more than 4.  Also, this play kitchen can be customized to fit you child's room, etc.  The one shown was designed to go along with our daughter's room decor.

Enjoy!

(I didn't have my wide lens, so I couldn't get the whole thing in the picture!)

The oven:

My little assistant.  Just to show you size.  We pretty much used the same dimensions as Pottery Barn Kids, but tried to give it a little vintage twist.  :)

The apron sink:

(yes, it even has a real faucet and sink stopper)

(Sink without the skirt hanging to show shelf)

The ice box:

(Door edges are rounded and door is hollow to make it light weight)

The cabinet:

(Hand towel hanging rack next to sink, on side of cabinet)

Finished product.  We designed her kitchen to go with her little table and chairs and it looks wonderful!  Here are a few with it all put together:

  2. Hi, I'm interested in purchasing plans for the play kitchen. Are they available for purchase? And if so, can you tell how I can do so? Love the kitchen! Thanks, JD

  3. Anonymous, go to ana-white.com & search play kitchen, that is where they got the idea and/or plans from and made adjustments for their daughter's kitchen. Her plans are all available online for free.

  5. While you might get by without a flashlight or a survival knife, having these items might give you an advantage.
If you already have neutral rug or flooring with hardwood flooring in your bedroom you will find a countless assortment of King Size comforters from which you can select your desired item matching or contrasting with
your room interior. Likewise, child sleeping bags also prevent
little legs getting caught in crib bars - another fantastic safety advantage for the use of infant sleeping
    bags.

  6. Amazing blog! Do you have any hints for aspiring writers?
I'm planning to start my own website soon but I'm a
little lost on everything. Would you recommend starting with a free platform like
Wordpress or go for a paid option? There are so many choices out there that I'm totally confused ..
    Any suggestions? Bless you!

  7. Try to select the appropriate colored appliances for your kitchen. * ENERGY STAR dishwashers are approximately ten percent more energy-efficient than traditional dishwasher models.

For the consummate dish experimenter some of the regular appliances
would be: chopper, electric peeler, food processors, grillers, roasting pans,
    and waffle irons.
